We believe God uses ordinary people to build ordinary churches that showcase our extraordinary God. 2 Corinthians 4:7 says it this way: “But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.”
In light of this, this website exists to tell the story of God’s faithfulness through ordinary people. More specifically, we want to tell the story of how God has been and will continue to revitalize Tabernacle Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC.
Since their start in 1874, ordinary people have showcased our extraordinary God through this church. Our prayer is that Christ’s beauty would be seen even more brightly in the years to come, and that prayfortabernacle.org would tell the story.
